I MORAIOLI
I MORAIOLI is a farm holiday complex in the heart of Tuscany: a terrace overlooking the Chianti countryside. The complex is situated close to Montebenichi (about 200 m away), an ancient Sienese fortress from the Middle Ages.
It is an old farmhouse, part of the building dating from the 15th century.
After being abandoned for several decades, in the 1990s the building was renovated and the house came back to life.
Both in renovating the building and choosing the interior decoration, and in the area around the house, the family who own the farmhouse and run the farm holiday business have tried to revive the typical traditions of rural Tuscan houses and maintain the harmony with the surrounding nature.
APARTMENTS
The complex consists of seven apartments, 24 beds and the possibility of adding extra beds.
Each apartment offers a comfortable living space making it perfect for a small family or a group of friends.
Each one has a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area both inside and outside, overlooking the beautiful Tuscan countryside.
SERVICES & ACTIVITIES
Thanks to our location we offer services and activities related to the area where we are located: there is a pool, you can take mountain bike tours and walks in green spaces.
Thanks to the installation of electric charging stations, now you can recharge the battery of your electric car.
We try to offer a unique and engaging experience for our guests in order to showcase Tuscan agriculture, nature and culture.
SUSTAINABILITY 2022
At Moraioli, there is a photovoltaic system that allows for self-consumption of the energy produced.
Energy produced 25.000 kW
Self-consumed energy 10.000 kW
Energy fed into the grid 15.000 kw
Energy taken from the grid 8.000 kw
In the near future, the installation of battery storage and the enhancement of the photovoltaic system are planned with the aim of achieving complete energy autonomy and feeding surplus energy produced into the grid.

We offer our guests the chance to explore some of the most iconic cultural and historical destinations in Tuscany, such as Florence, renowned for its impressive architecture and Renaissance art, Siena, known for its narrow, distinctive streets and striking Gothic cathedral San Gimignano, famous for its 14 medieval towers that still stand tall today and earned the nickname "the Manhattan of Tuscany", and Montalcino, celebrated for its exclusive Brunello di Montalcino wine.
